Ms Valerie: Hi! I’m Valerie Valdes, an education major who values patience, adaptability, and meaningful connections in the classroom. I chose education because I believe teaching goes beyond academics—it involves understanding students as individuals and supporting their unique strengths and needs. My interest in special education has grown as I’ve learned the importance of meeting students where they are and providing the support necessary for them to feel confident and capable. As I continue my preparation to become an educator, I am focused on developing the skills and mindset needed to create inclusive, supportive learning environments for students with diverse abilities.
